How well can you visualise?
The 'Apple Test'
Close your eyes and imagine a red apple.
How clearly can you see it in your mind's eye?

A person who is a ‘5’ sees the red apple as clearly as in real life. This is called ‘hyperphantasia.’ If you're a '5' you aren't typical! - you have an extraordinary visualisation ability.
Most people will fall between ‘4’ and ‘2’ on the visualisation spectrum – they will see the apple fairly clearly and in colour (no 4), or fairly clearly but not necessarily in colour (no 3), or can just about make out the shape of the apple but if the image is rather dim (no 2). If it's extremely dim and/or fleeting, you might be classified as aphantasic.
A person a ‘1’ and sees absolutely nothing, it is just black/blank in their mind - has 'extreme' visual aphantasia.
REMEMBER!
APHANTASIA IS NOT JUST ABOUT VISUALISATION ABILITY.
IT COMMONLY AFFECTS ONE OR MORE OTHER INTERNAL SENSES
- AND MORE!
